WTA - Michelle Gerards en Marlot Meddens staan in de kwartfinale van een Future die deze week in Zwitserland gespeeld wordt. In de tweede ronde van het toernooi in Lenzerheide werd Josanne van Bennekom uitgeschakeld.
Gerards voert in Zwitserland de plaatsingslijst aan. De Nederlandse won haar eerste partij vrij eenvoudig en kreeg ook in de tweede doorgang niet echt tegenstand. Julia Babilon uit Duitsland werd door de Nederlandse nummer 291 van de wereld met 6-4, 6-2 naar huis gestuurd.
